ABOUT THIS SITE

BELIEVER-CENTRAL (christian-information-center.com)

This site is based on the principle that the Bible is God's manual for living, and contains all we need to deal with daily life issues. The purpose of this site is to provide a central resource to inform, heal and equip us to be vessels through which the Holy Spirit can work.

Believer-Central is focused on what God has told us matters most...loving Him and loving each other. So the core of this site is relationships and matters of the heart, particularly how to have a healthy heart as God defines.

Hopefully, Believer-Central will become a place where we can exchange information, experiences and God-given gifts for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.(Ephesians 4:11) as well as reach those seeking more than a worldly existance.

Unlike its secular counterparts, all information on Believer-Central must be grounded in scripture and aimed at drawing us closer to Jesus. If it isn't based on the Word and is focused solely on self-improvement, it isn't found here.

Believer-Central is designed around basic principles of Christian life and the assumption that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Many self-help sites offer a collection of articles or bytes of information, but do not provide an overall framework to follow. Without this, it becomes overwhelming to integrate the pieces of information into daily life. Believer-Central offers a basic framework diagrammed in Life in Christ and listed on the navigation bar on the home page.

ABOUT THE EDITOR

Catherine Loomis, M.S., R.D., NCC, LHMC is a licensed counselor and registered dietitian with over 20 years of experience working as family therapist, dietitian, program director and leadership consultant. This experience includes work with individuals, families and teams in Christian, private, local, state and federal organizations. She is specially trained in family systems theory, counselor/leadership training, team building, organizational development and addictions. Catherine offers Believer-Central viewers the gifts and experiences God has given her,but most importantly, she gives glory to God through her story of His impact on her life.
