Let Not Your Heart Be TroubledGod used the word "heart(s)" the Bible (KJV)-867 times. Most of His instruction is about the care and keeping of our hearts. His promises also center around peace, love, contentment, hope...heart issues.The argument can be made that what matters most, is the matters of the heart. It follows then that while it shows in many ways, (depression, anxiety, rage, compulsions, addictions, etc) most of our dysfunction stem from troubled hearts. And troubled hearts lead to troubled relationships. We tend to focus on fixing relationships with other people when all of these stem from our relationship with Jesus.
