God makes its clear in the Bible that he expects Christians to live theirs lives according to a higher standard than the world...the standard of Jesus. He also makes it clear that until He ends the world, it is controlled by Satan, the prince of darkness. As humans, we have to decide if we live for eternal life or for carnal life.
