CHRISTIAN STORY: Rhianon

Read about Rhianon. Loving, gentle...lovely.

BELIEVER PROFILE

   RHIANON
MEET RHIANON
When you meet Rhianon, you can't help but be struck by her beautiful eyes that are full of love and life. Not full of life in the way that may come to mind...taking a bite out of life (although she does that, too). But, full of life through connecting with people: Knowing them, loving them and serving them. She looks at you as though you are the most interesting person she has ever met. And she listens as though she wants to know all about you. No, not as though...she really does want to know all about you.

Rhianon is fascinated by the way God made each of us complex in our individuality and simple in our common human experience.
  FULL OF LOVE
The way she finds other people fascinating, makes her incredibly fascinating.

HEART FOR JESUS
Rhianon is one of those people you come across that has something special, something that draws you and gives you a sense of calm and gentleness. Her heart is open and honest in a way that you so rarely see. It doesn't take long to see that what you are experiencing is the love of Jesus drawing you toward Rhianon and to Him. As you get closer, you see that Rhianon has committed her life to knowing Jesus fully and completely. She reads the Bible as other Christians do. She does Bible studies as other Christians do. But she also wants to know about the context of Jesus' life here on earth. She studies the Torah, she studies Hebrew to understand God's word in the language of Jesus. Rhianon pours her heart into knowing Jesus.

       FULL OF LIFE
HEART FOR OTHERS
God has given her many gifts, but one that is evident is her heart for building up the Body of Christ. She is Ephesians 4:1 in action. Rhianon edifies her family, her friends, her community, and her kids...her middle school students.

Not surprisingly, Rhianon chose teaching as her profession. And teaching middle school students, no less. Watching Rhianon with her students is captivating. It becomes clear why she chose midde schoolers to teach...She loves them. She knows the kids. Each and every one.
       ADVENTURE
She knows their learning style, their challenges, what motivates them. She knows their family story, their strengths and their hearts. She finds them fascinating. She sees each one as a child of God with gifts just waiting to be nurtrured and released. Rhianon's joy is infectious and not lost on the students. Her classroom is a learning place that is fun and supportive and nurturing - a place where kids feel proud to learn and work together. Rhianon's love reaches out to even the most challening and resistant student...and touches them.
       SIMPLY LOVELY

Knowing Rhianon will touch your heart.

Ephesians 4:1 1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. 7 But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. 8 This is why it says: "When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men." 9 (What does "he ascended" mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions 10 He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) 11 It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12 to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. 14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart.
                      1 Peter 22 NKJV

SUBMIT YOUR TESTIMONY

12 This is my commandment, that you love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends."
                             John 15:12-13

27 He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
                           Luke 10:27

1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. 2 And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.
                           Ephesians 5:1 NKJV
