MEET TEAM ATKINSON
The family that plays and prays together...stays together. That's the Akinsons...Team Atkinson.

A team is "a group of interacting individuals sharing a common goal and the responsibility for achieving it." * This defines the Atkinson family. Their common goal is reaching others for Jesus and ministering to God's people. And everyone in the family has a role in accomplishing the goal.

As a family, Team Atkinson plays hard and plays often. They enjoy soccer, running, wresting, hiking just to name a few. They participate as individuals and they participate as a team. It would not be out of the question for them to be seen in a running event dressed in costumes and having a great time. One of them has a running or soccer event, the family is there. One of them is learning to golf, the others give it a try, if only to offer one of the team encouragement. They use their gift of sports and action to showcase the power of God in their family.

They approach their role as pastor and family in the same way. They view the church as an expanded team for Christ and see that their job is to build it up and mobilize it to win hearts for Jesus. They all have a role in ministering to the congregation and are a loving presence to the church family.

The self-less and compassionate way they treat each other and the others around them, is a testimony of love, in the name of Jesus Christ.
